4D Application Developer

We have an excellent full or part-time opportunity for a highly-motivated 4D developer. The successful candidate will bring solid experience to the table, be excited about creating custom software solutions for a variety of clients, and enjoy “getting their hands dirty” in multiple aspects of the development process. He or she will be a self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team, with the ability to excel under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities include:

Creating and adding new functionality for web-based and desktop applications written in 4D, for multiple clients.

Testing, debugging, and deploying new and modified software applications.

Requirements:

A minimum of five years programming experience, with 2-3 years experience in designing, developing, and supporting 4D web-based and desktop applications. Experience with SQL databases (writing queries, web services, etc) preferred, and ASP.NET experience is a plus.

Strong user interface design skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

Undergraduate degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
